Hey there, I am Chris Herz! My musical journey began back in 1984 when I, as a kid, started attending music school. I finished music theory and playing the clarinet and saxophone, graduating as the best in my class. Since my childhood years, I became interested in music and music production, so some years later, with my first paycheck, I bought my first instruments and equipment.

I never limited myself to specific music genres, and thus, my musical development was marked by artists ranging from David Bowie and Depeche Mode to Sister Sledge and Michael Jackson, from synth-pop and rock, through funk and disco, to RnB, synthwave, and house music.

By my mid-twenties, through several bands I founded, I was learning and growing as a music producer and arranger, getting to know frequencies, mastering the art and craft of recording instruments and vocals, perfecting mixing and mastering, and mastering all the tools producers use in the studio. I then founded my first professional band, which, with its debut single, topped the charts in Croatia and the surrounding region. This success continued with subsequent singles, albums, new projects in my production, or productions in which I participated.

I have composed music for TV shows like Big Brother, children’s music, dance and pop music, music for radio commercials, and other forms of music. Over the years, I have followed the development of music, music production, techniques, and technology, witnessing the emergence and (sometimes) disappearance of new music genres. I am always learning, as it is a never-ending process. I understand the roots of new musical styles and never say “today’s music is strange.” 😉👍 I am open to everything and everyone, love to experiment, combine styles, and always strive to keep up with time we live in. After all, as we all know, time is an illusion anyway.

I also worked as a music editor on radio and in a music magazine, radio host, DJ, and digital media marketing specialist for years, so I have a combination of knowledge useful to any musician.
